Postal services and the Plastic Box

The postal segment is present in every country, big or small. Most are government-owned and operate as a monopoly for the national distribution of mail and packages.  However, in some countries the post office has lost its monopoly position as the government has opened the market to private postal companies.
In fact all postal companies worldwide, whether state-owned or private, are constantly faced with the challenge of improving mail delivery systems, electronic sorting equipment, plastic boxes and containers.

Electronic sorting equipment places high demands on the containers used in such systems, which is why the two most work together effectively.  We have, for many years, collaborated with Europe's most innovative postal services to create efficient solutions.  As a result we are able to tailor solutions to the specific needs in each country.

Safety and security of the parcel are two major considerations.  The product must not be damaged or lost at any stage of the postal system.  Plastic boxes must be sturdy and easy to identify.  To survive the pressure of the market, companies have invested in new and clever logistic concepts, of which plastic boxes and crates for mail are just one example. Other space saving systems in transport & logistics improve the supply chain and help to speed up processes.

We have researched and developed the transition from traditional mail systems into intelligent, new computer-run sorting systems.  Our plastic boxes for mail are customised to the needs of more than a dozen countries in Europe and Asia, for instance the UK, France and Hong Kong.  

Our Security Box has been developed together with the Finnish Mint to handle bank notes, coins and securities.  The result is a plastic transport box that is now being introduced in customised versions around the world.  It meets very special technical and handling requirements, offers a high level of safety and is approved for very heavy loads.  We are proud to have supported world-wide distribution companies with this customised plastic security box for express mail.
