New pallet solutions
Plastic pallets are constantly gaining market share because of their outstanding properties in comparison with wood: excellent hygiene, constant quality and dimensions, no splintering, no nails, no water absorption and relatively light weight. Added to that is the freedom in design, to meet specific customer needs. As a result Schoeller Arca Systems can offer an extensive range of plastic pallets for one way, multi trip and light as well as heavy duty purposes. At the Interpack two new pallet designs are presented:
BiPP 1210 M+ (multi trip pallet) and EOS 1210 M+ (limited trip export pallet)These 1200 x 1000 mm medium duty pallets are the first of a new generation. Other dimensions, i.e. 1200 x 800 mm and 1140 x 1140 mm will follow later this year. The pallets are of monobloc design and combine the light weight of one way pallets (13 kg) with the strength of a heavy duty product (dynamic load = 1250 kg). EOS 1210 M+ has been specially designed for multinational companies to avoid the necessity of heat treatment or fumigation of wooden pallets when shipping goods abroad.
Everest IITM
A new multifunctional pallet made by twin sheet moulding. The perfect alternative to wooden or other plastic pallets for a wide range of applications. Everest IITM (1200 x 800 mm) is fully compatible with Euro wooden pallets for efficient automated handling. The top deck has a well balanced anti-slip surface as well as a cut out for strap fixation. Top rim and hand grips are optional. Dynamic load capacity: 1000 kg.
Mobile Transit Platform
The Mobile Transit Platform (800 x 600 x 213 mm) is a robust plastic unit for deliveries of crates in retail distribution, assembly and production. Such hipping towers are an excellent alternative to metal roller cages. The platform itself weighs no more than 11 kg and has a load capacity of 500 kg. It is usable with fork lifts and pump trucks. The welded sandwich design provides smooth surfaces, that are hygienic and easy to clean. Matching lid available.
